Mikko Heiniö premiere in Turku

Mikko Heiniö’s new work Domklang for organ, percussion and wind orchestra was premiered at Turku Cathedral on 3 February. The work used the acoustics of the venue in an impressive way creating a unique soundscape. The concert was part of the Katedraali soi festival, which celebrates its 30^th anniversary. The Navy Band and Markku Hietaharju (organ) were conducted by Jarkko Aaltonen.
