Matthew Whittall and Lotta Wennäkoski were both awarded at the Finnish Music Publishers Association’s anniversary gala on 5. September in Helsinki. Whittall was chosen as Composer of the Year in the large-scale work category for his work Joy for organ and orchestra. Wennäkoski received the prize for her string quartet Flickereth in the small-scale work category.
