Lauri Mäntysaari: Kimara
Kimara (cluster [of colors], 2025) is a collection of short, color-inspired pieces for cello. They can be performed in any order, individually or scattered throughout a concert program – anything goes!
Movements are Kohiseva valkoinen (Noisy White),  Sähkönsininen (Electric Blue) and Keväänvihreä (Spring Green). The work was commissioned by the Turku Music Society for the XV Turku National Cello Competition in 2026. Buy now
