Uuno Klami (1900–1961) was an acclaimed Finnish orchestral composer whose works in other genres also deserve to be known. Berceuse for violin and piano is composer’s own arrangement of the second movement of his Symphonie enfantine op. 7. Laulelma (A Little Song) for violin and piano was an aphoristic birthday greeting to a friend in 1952.
