Armas Järnefelt: Romanze (Romance)

Romanze is salon music inspired by Järnefelt’s studies in Berlin in 1890-91. The first theme is a swinging cantilena that breaks into arpeggios. The final stretto echoes the spirit of the opening bars.  2019 is the 150th anniversary of Armas Järnefelt.
