Carita Holmström: Piano trio

Carita Holmström (b. 1954) composed her piano trio (2021-2022) during the Covid-19 pandemic. The names of the movements A Distant Threat, Safe Grounds, The Labyrinth and The Bewilderness express much of the feelings of uncertainty, captivity, falling into the unknown, broken plans and fumbling in the darkness that were felt during those times.
